Why this blog?
We are creating this blog so that we can share our experiences with our family, friends, and fellow church members. We hope to make postings while in El Salvador. If you leave us comments on the blog, we should be able to access them and share them with the team during our travels.
In addition to this blog, if you are interested in more information about the project, visit the official "Strengthening Getsemani" project blog created by Habitat for Humanity El Salvador at habitatelsalvador.wordpress.com
Where are we going?
We will be traveling to El Salvador in Central America. We are working on a project in a small community called Getsemani which is near the city of Ahuachapán. Ahuachapán is in western El Salvador near the border of Gautemala and was founded in the 5th century by Mayan indians.
