I just wanted to thank all my friends and family for their support and prayers and their donations for our trip. I have gotten such an overwhelming response. Thank you!! I hope that we can share as much information with you through this blog so that you feel some kind of connection with the village we are focusing on. I am looking forward to a great experience.

Where are we going?
We will be traveling to El Salvador in Central America. We are working on a project in a small community called Getsemani which is near the city of Ahuachapán. Ahuachapán is in western El Salvador near the border of Gautemala and was founded in the 5th century by Mayan indians.
