Safe arrival

We have arrived safely in San Salvador. It is a beautiful but HOT day. The pilot said it was 107! We stopped for lunch at a pupusaria. 2 pupusas and a drink for $1.30. They are great. We are being guided by our local Habitat host, Patty, who is Salvadoran but speaks perfect English and is full of positive energy and getting us excited about what lies ahead.

Glad to hear you guys arrived safely! Enjoy your time with the people in El Salvador- we know it will be a fabulous experience for everyone involved!

The boys were VERY jealous when I "tried" to describe a pupusa as a "cheese-filled pancake"! They really want to eat one now!!!

Take care and safe travels to everyone,

xoxo,
